SPF's

When it comes to SPF new formulations and new ingredients are introduced to us constantly
I realized that with SPFs it’s easier to look for what we don’t want to have in the products

Ingredients to avoid:

Octocrylene

Homosalate

Oxybenzone

Avobenzone

The safest are mineral-based sunscreen products with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.

Exfoliants and Masks

Most our clients use actives and acids in skincare routine
And most of our clients are on Retinol
And that’s why Exfoliants should be enzymes powders, they are not abrasive and should be used no more than 1-2 times a week …

Masks
Masks should be used anywhere between 2-4 times a week
But if your client wants to use them every day they are very welcome
Just make sure you recommend them few different masks according to their skin type
So skin would get benefit from different ingredients…

Be very careful with clay masks
Make sure client knows to never let them dry on the face …

Advantages of Using Retinol
